My wife, Sue, and I lived in Guilford, Connecticut in the 1970's. Guilford is a beautiful, classic New England town on the Connecticut coast.    'The Green' is the center of the old village. Sue's church (with the red doors), the library where she worked, our favorite gift shop and my favorite hardware store all face the green.
